The PM IV at PMA Consultants in Worcester, MA leads the delivery of complex, high‑impact construction projects across sectors, managing initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout to align with client goals, regulatory requirements, and PMA standards.
This role requires mentorship of junior staff, leadership of cross‑disciplinary teams, rigorous risk and schedule management, and clear communication with owners, end users, designers, and contractors to ensure on‑time, on‑budget
The Project Manager leads the delivery of complex, high-impact projects or multi-project programs across various sectors. This role is responsible for full project lifecycle management—initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing—while ensuring alignment with client goals, regulatory requirements, and PMA’s internal standards. The PM IV serves as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinates across disciplines and stakeholders, and ensures delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
This role provides strategic leadership in project governance, risk mitigation, performance monitoring, and resource management. The PM IV promotes consistency in project execution by applying industry best practices and PMA methodologies. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver who can manage multiple priorities, mentor junior staff, and uphold PMA’s reputation for excellence in project management consulting.
Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
Cognitive: Problem‑solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.

The salary range for this position is $130,853 to $155,927. A hired employee will be placed within this salary range based on a variety of legitimate business reasons, including but not limited to the individual’s scope of relevant experience and geographic location.
