Project Manager – Lead Complex Industrial & Manufacturing Site Solutions
Job Overview
  • Company: McCain Industrial.
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $70,000 to $90,000 per year (Paid Hourly).
  • Location: South Williamsport, PA (Extensive Travel Required).
  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, Weekends, and Overtime as required.
  • Project Scope: Industrial / Manufacturing Services.
  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: CDL Physical, Equipment Training, and Welding Certifications.
The Opportunity

You will serve as a high-level technical leader, steering complex industrial projects from fabrication to final equipment installation. This role grants you the autonomy to solve high-stakes mechanical puzzles while working for an owner who values individual faces over employee numbers.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across rigging, welding, and electrical workflows to ensure plumb-level-square precision.
  • Execute daily project management tasks for diverse industrial systems, including conveyors, robots, and material handling equipment.
  • Troubleshoot real-time mechanical and hydraulic issues on-site to maintain strict production timelines for our clients.
  • Supervise specialized installations at heights, ensuring all safety protocols and quality standards are met without compromise.
  • Direct field logistics for out-of-town project stays, managing resources and personnel for assignments lasting up to two weeks.
  • Maintain high ethical standards by doing what is right when no one is looking, fostering a culture of professional trust.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, rigging, or mechanical project coordination.
  • Proven proficiency in reading technical drawings and managing industrial fabrication and machining projects.
  • Absolute willingness to travel extensively via ground and air, including overnight stays of up to 14 days.
  • Technical mastery of industrial equipment, including bearings, drives, scales, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with a self-motivated approach to solving complex logistical and mechanical obstacles.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Completion of an Associate’s Degree in a technical or engineering-related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in industrial plumbing, painting, or advanced electrical control systems.
  • Advanced capability in team leadership and client-facing communication within a manufacturing environment.
