Job summary

Expleo Group USA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of complex aerospace programs. You will manage roadmaps, KPI metrics, and cross-functional teams to ensure commitments are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include program governance, deliverables tracking, risk mitigation, and executive-level reporting to Expleo leadership and customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience within aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day execution of program activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project plans, schedules, and program roadmaps.
  • Define project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths.
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, resource allocation, and project performance.
  • Drive execution to ensure program commitments are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively manage program challenges.
  • Track and manage all customer and internal deliverables against established deadlines.
  • Establish project governance processes and reporting structures.
  • Ensure action items are assigned, tracked, and completed.
  • Maintain visibility of project status and elevate concerns when required.
  • Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain program dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Track KPIs related to schedule, quality, cost, delivery, and operational performance.
  • Analyze trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Present KPI reviews and program health reports to leadership and customer stakeholders.
  • Support initiatives that improve execution efficiency and program performance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between client, Expleo leadership, customers, and project teams.
  • Lead customer status meetings, program reviews, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure customer requirements and expectations are communicated effectively across project teams.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on program status, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness.
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and drive issue resolution.
  • Align internal and external stakeholders to support program objectives.
  • Support change management activities and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Maintain project risk registers and issue logs.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective action planning.
  • Escalate critical issues and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Ensure timely completion of mitigation plans and action items.

Project Manager

We are growing our network of experienced Project Managers to support current and upcoming aerospace program execution, customer delivery, and operational excellence initiatives. Our Project Managers will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex aerospace programs by managing project roadmaps, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring customer commitments are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Program & Project Management

  • Lead day-to-day execution of program activities.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Maintain project risk registers and issue logs.

  • Ensure timely completion of mitigation plans and action items.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience within aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Aerospace industry experience supporting aircraft, UAV, or defense programs.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and cross-functional teams simultaneously.
  • Proven success in creating project plans, schedules, roadmaps, and executive-level status reports.
  • Experience tracking KPIs, performance metrics, and program milestones.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience supporting Airbus programs or aerospace OEMs.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar project management platforms.
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality systems and regulatory environments

  • Competitive Compensation – Up to $120,000 annually, $58 hourly. Please note that the compensation range displayed is a generalized range for pipelining purposes and may not reflect the final range for a specific role. Final compensation will be determined based on the role, skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography
