Job summary

GEA Group is seeking a Project Manager for its York, PA team to lead project execution from quotation through commissioning. You will coordinate across Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure on-time delivery within budget and scope.

You will benefit from structured training in project management, global network, and opportunities for professional growth in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in related projects.
  • PMP license or willingness to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

  • Clarify, specify and execute each project from quotation to commissioning, handover and completion.
  • Generate buy-in among stakeholders and motivate the team.
  • Deliver projects safely, on budget, and within scope, quality and schedule.
  • Ensure customer management and satisfaction during execution.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Risk management and travel as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the clarification, specification and execution of each project from the initial quotation phase to commissioning, handover, follow-up and project completion
  • Generate buy-in among your stakeholders and motivate your team to ensure that all aspects of a project are moving in the same direction
  • Make sure that your projects are delivered safely, within budget and according to scope, quality and schedule
  • Oversee and ensure that customers are managed properly and that their satisfaction levels remain high during the execution of each project
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across departments and functions, ranging from Sales to Supply Chain, Finance (project budget and cost control) and Risk management of customer focused projects.
  • Travel as needed to sites as projects are implemented and for customer meetings
Your Profile / Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in related projects, preferably in Industrial Heating and Refrigeration.
  • Possess PMP License, or willing to obtain within 1 year of being in role.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to navigate unforeseen challenges and deescalate situations.

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
