BB&E is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Honolulu District Programs & Project Management Division. Work is on-site in Honolulu, HI, supporting planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and government documentation for surge FY27 projects.

The role requires 15+ years in related fields, DoD contracting exposure, and a Bachelor’s degree. Competitive compensation and generous benefits accompany bonus and ESOP ownership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of total relevant experience; 3+ years in construction/project planning; one year in U.S. Government/DoD contracting preferred.
• ABachelor’s Degree in business, management, finance, engineering, architecture, or related field (or 4 years substitute).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Primavera P6; strong written and oral communication; capable of multitasking autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Assist PPMD in planning and project development for each Program by coordinating projects and the PDT.
• Prepare and maintain project management plans.
• Provide cost tracking and documentation support.
• Compile documentation for project site approval by the Government.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders and identify contractor status.

BB&E is an employee-owned, full-service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering, and Program/Project Management Services to the Federal and private sectors.

Position Summary

BB&E isseekinga dynamic and detail-orientedProject Managerto join our team, supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Honolulu District (POH) Programs & Project Management Division (PPMD) with planning and project development support for an upcoming surge of FY27 projects. Work will be performed on-site at USACE Honolulu District facilities in Honolulu, HI, usingGovernment-furnishedcomputers. This position is contingent upon contract award, and there are two (2) openings.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist PPMD in the planning and project development for each Program by coordinating projects and the Project Development Team (PDT)

• Prepare andmaintainproject management plans

• Provide cost tracking and documentation support

• Compile documentation for project site approval by the Government

• Facilitate communication between various stakeholders,ensuring proper identification as a contractor at all times

• Provide administrative and support duties asrequired

Key Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenshipand the ability to obtain/maintaina NACI/CAC isrequired
• Software:Highproficiencyin the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Primavera P6 isrequired
• Strong Communication Skills:Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
• Self-Starter:Highly motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines autonomously
• Experience:Fifteen (15) or more years of total relevant experienceisrequired. In addition, aminimum of three (3) full years of experience in the construction industry performing project planning, program analysis, or project controls, of which one (1) year must be in a U.S. Government or DoD contracting environment, isrequired
• Education:ABachelor’s Degree in business administration, management, finance, engineering, architecture, or a related field isrequired; four (4) years of direct, relevant experience may be substituted for the degree

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk/climb/kneel/crouch and remain in a stationary position/sit at least 60% of the time
• Ability tooperateoffice equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
• Capableoflifting upto 10 lbs.
• Ability to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away
• Ability to understand the speech of another person, speak clearly so listeners can understand, and talk or hear both in person and by telephone

• Competitive compensation packages. $125,000-$180,000annually. This rangerepresentsgood-faith compensation for the position at the time of posting. Individual compensation isdeterminedbasedon several factors, including job responsibilities, relevant experience, education, certifications, technical skills, security clearance status, geographic location, market conditions, internal equity, and contract-specific requirements.
