Job summary

Flintco, LLC is seeking a Project Manager in the Tulsa, OK area to serve as liaison among owner representatives, subcontractors, architects, and engineers. You will provide construction expertise to optimize projects, supervise personnel, and ensure on-budget, on-schedule delivery with resource planning.

This role may require travel or work on remote projects out of state, and offers opportunities to lead teams across multiple projects while upholding safety, quality, and integrity in all

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of progressively responsible construction management experience.
  • Certification such as LEED AP, DBIA, ASHE is a plus.
  • Experience with estimating, scheduling, cost control, and personnel administration.
  • Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Review project estimates and bids; collaborate with management to assign project personnel.
  • Review subcontractor selections, contract arrangements, and shop drawings; review proposed materials.
  • Prepare and review preliminary and detailed project schedules.
  • Ensure required management/administrative prerequisites (cash flow plan, subcontractor lists, manufacturer lists, submittal/procurement logs) are prepared and administered; manage submittals, expedites, and approvals.
  • Coordinate with the Project Superintendent to oversee materials delivery and receipt.
  • Monitor construction activities, resolve issues (changes, deficiencies, subcontractor performance); review monthly status reports and project billings; keep upper management and client informed.
  • Ensure punch list items are completed; ensure closeout documents (drawings, manuals, warranties) are submitted; assist in final settlements and payments.

Description

Job Summary

The Project Manager acts as the liaison between Flintco, owner representatives, major subcontractors, architects and engineers. They provide input based on construction expertise to benefit the project, supervise project personnel, ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule, and confirm resource allocation. This role may require travel or work on remote projects out of state.

May supervise project management personnel and field crews.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

At least 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in construction management, including estimating, project management, scheduling, cost control, and personnel administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Professional certification (e.g., LEED AP, DBIA, ASHE) is a plus.

Capabilities

Knowledge/Skills/Ability

  • Ability to prepare detailed construction project plans, schedules, and estimates using standard software.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, and algebra.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to provide clear written and oral instructions to employees, architects, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Experience managing project teams and large groups; effective delegation to achieve results.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear.
  • Occasionally sit and smell; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Visual requirements include near, far, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Mental demands may be high during multiple projects and high-pressure phases.
  • May require long hours for extended periods.
