Job Summary

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Ensures the plans and performance of the various functions within the organization meet or exceed management expectations. Provides leadership to institutionalize the processes of Continuous Improvement in accordance with organization goals and objectives.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities
  • Works within established organizational objectives. Accomplishes results through subordinate supervisors or through experienced exempt and nonexempt staff. Performs typical responsibilities of management requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and coaching. Work is reviewed for adequacy in meeting cost, schedule and quality objectives.
  • Leads or participates in proposal preparation, business plans proposal work statements and development of technical and administrative specifications and operating budgets. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product development, integration and test.
  • Establishes milestones ands monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions such as allocation of resources or changing contract specifications.
  • Assists in providing technical and manufacturing support to the production floor. Assists Manufacturing Processes (M/P) in creating and writing process specifications. Assists in creating production schedules and man‑power requirements.
  • Provides customer field support, including technical and manufacturing support, supply‑manufacturing support of the implementation of Service Bulletin, Modifications, Warranty Issues and Repairs.
  • Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
  • Confers with project
    personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.

Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications and departments other than the primary assignment.

Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirements

Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree. Technical discipline.

If applicable, a combination of experience and training may be substituted for the education requirement.
