Job summary

Lithko Contracting, LLC is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role focuses on developing accurate estimates and managing the administration of projects, ensuring all parties receive detailed and correct information throughout the project lifecycle.

The position requires strong Microsoft Office skills, superior organization and communications, and 5+ years of experience in project management and estimating for large-scale concrete projects.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in project management and estimating for a large-scale self-perform GC or concrete contractor.
• Self-perform experience of concrete is required.
• Experience with a variety of project types, emphasis on commercial/industrial concrete.
• Knowledge of construction principles/practices on projects over $1M.
• Experience performing estimates, submitting bids, and generating proposals.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for potential projects.
• Identify and quantify all concrete scope items and help develop a project strategy.
• Generate customer proposals and preliminary schedules.
• Set up projects including initial contract review, cost codes, and preliminary budget.
• Generate and communicate accurate project information and schedules.
• Create preliminary project schedules and maintain them.
• Organize log setup for MPOs and POs to track logged items and submittals.
• Ensure organized and accurate takeoffs for the project.
• Collaborate with Project Lead and operations to develop an accurate project plan.
• Communicate information, solutions, and opportunities to the team as needed.
• Compile daily job cost reports to ensure costs align with the budget.
• Create change orders based on customer expectations.
• Execute detailed project closeouts.

The Role

Lithko Contracting, LLC is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team. Project Coordinators at Lithko are responsible for developing correct estimates and providing accurate and detailed project information to all appropriate parties in addition to managing the administration components for an entire project.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing a detailed and accurate estimate for a potential project.
• Identifies and quantifies all necessary concrete scope items and collaborates in developing a big strategy for a project.
• Generates a customer proposal and preliminary schedule.
• Performs the job setup for the project which includes initial contract review, cost codes, and preliminary budget.
• Generates and knows correct and timely project information.
• Creates the preliminary schedule for the project.

Requirements and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management and estimating for a large scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.

• Must have experience with a variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial concrete.
• Knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.
• Previous experience with performing estimates, submitting bids, and generating proposals.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering required.
