SERVPRO® Team Nichols seeks an experienced Project Manager to direct operations on designated restoration projects. You will serve as the single point of contact for stakeholders, drive safety and service plans, and manage timelines from mobilization through completion.
Responsibilities include coordinating resources, leading daily briefings, tracking progress, and ensuring accurate documentation for the final invoice, while maintaining the brand integrity across sites.
The Project Manager (PM) directs all operations of a designated project and provides the primary single point of contact for all materially interested parties. The PM is accountable for the project’s execution and completion, acting as the “general manager” and owning responsibility for outcomes including production, safety, communication, completion timelines, and maintaining a strong Brand appearance.
Uses loss details to begin mobilization of resources, contacting internal and external resources to ensure readiness.
Conducts a walk-through focusing on safety, business interruption needs, customer concerns, and stabilization and emergency service needs.
Establishes safety, stabilization, business interruption, and emergency services plans to review with the PC and present to the customer, explaining the first 48 to 72 hours of services.
Communicates with the customer and key stakeholders to share progress and next steps.
Directs resources of the Resource Coordinator/Supply Supervisor in planning site organization and transportation needs.
Ensures all work and time is accounted for from the beginning of the project.
Develops complete scope of services for the entire project.
Creates and finalizes resource need timelines, the project organizational chart, projected milestones, and detailed project tasks and work orders.
Reviews scope with the Project Coordinator before submitting to the client.
Conducts initial planning and daily management meetings with the Assistant Project Manager, Resource Coordinator/Supply Supervisor, Project Clerical Administrator, and Health and Safety Officer.
Ensures operations are completed, documented, and communicated to all stakeholders.
Addresses customer needs daily. These needs, along with project progression, drive priority decisions.
Defines daily work orders based on progress, customer communications, and tasks completed. For small commercial projects, communicates the daily plan to Restoration Supervisors.
Evaluates daily progress, walking the site frequently and communicating findings to correct issues.
Troubleshoots issues as necessary.
Directs demobilization, final documentation, and compilation necessary for the final invoice.
Fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with variable shift hours, typically eight to ten hours. Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods and evaluate site progress through walk‑throughs. Ability to travel locally and out of state when required.
