Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. seeks a Quality Project Manager – Material Trials and Quality Projects to drive cross‑functional project execution from planning to installation at the Sumner site.

You will ensure material availability, maintain SAP master data, and coordinate with Quality, R&D, Planning, and Inventory to meet project milestones. Responsibilities include leading continuous improvement initiatives, managing multiple projects within budget and schedule, and partnering with Engineering,

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, project management, manufacturing, or related environment.
• Experience managing production trials, supplier relationships, and inventory in SAP.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Progress multiple projects in parallel and communicate updates and timelines.
• Use systems thinking to improve data flow and KPI performance.
• Build relationships across R&D, Production, Material Handlers, and Engineering.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Coordinate administrative execution of new material projects on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain project tracking tools and reporting to monitor commitments and timelines.
• Align project priorities with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Coordinate with R&D teams and contractors on equipment specs, lead times, and installation activities.
• Communicate milestones, schedules, risks, and status to site leadership.
• Support equipment startups and project launches with materials, vendors, and internal resources.
• Participate in Kaizen events, RCCM activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Overview

The Quality Project Manager – Material Trials and Quality Projects combines trial expertise with project management to support site operations and material qualifications. This role is responsible for managing internal relationships between Quality, R&D, Planning, and inventory while coordinating the execution of projects from planning through installation.

The successful candidate will ensure material availability, maintain accurate SAP master data, coordinate cross‑functional project activities, and partner with internal teams to deliver projects on time while ensuring success criteria are met. This position plays a critical role in supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement across the site.

What you'll do

Continuous Improvement

• Use time management skills to progress multiple projects in parallel, communicate updates and timelines, and see projects through to their optimal end state(s).
• Utilize systems thinking to improve data flow and drive KPI improvements.
• Manage and cultivate strong relationships between R&D, Production, Material Handlers, and Engineering to optimize performance.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiencies, and automated solutions to reduce resource strain and maximize rapid decision making.

Project Management

• Coordinate the administrative execution of new material projects, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain project tracking tools, documentation, and reporting to monitor commitments, timelines, and project status.
• Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to align project priorities, resources, and execution plans.
• Coordinate with R&D teams and contractors to manage equipment specifications, lead times, delivery schedules, and installation activities.
• Communicate project milestones, equipment delivery schedules, risks, and status updates to site leadership and key stakeholders.
• Support equipment startups and project launches by ensuring materials, vendors, and internal resources are aligned.
• Participate in Kaizen events, Root Cause Countermeasure (RCCM) activities, and continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement and capital project execution.

Total Rewards

• Salary Range: $84,000–$100,000
• Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements

Ideal Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years of experience in supply chain, project management, manufacturing, or a related environment.
• Experience managing production trials, supplier relationships, and inventory in an ERP system such as SAP.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting cross‑functional teams and/or manufacturing projects.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Power BI.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement environment.
• Familiarity with Kaizen, RCCM, or other structured problem‑solving methodologies.
