Summary: As a Project Manager at Vecta Environmental, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and closing projects involving high-pressure water blasting operations. Your expertise in industrial cleaning will be essential in ensuring the successful and safe completion of projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and uphold Vecta's commitment to quality and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements for projects.
    • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
    • Ensure projects align with Vecta's safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Resource Management:
    • Coordinate and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, for projects.
    • Work closely with the operations team to optimize resource utilization and ensure project deadlines are met.
    • Conduct regular assessments of resource needs and adjust plans as required.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Utilize your expertise in industrial cleaning techniques to develop efficient and effective project methodologies.
    • Stay abreast of industry advancements and integrate innovative technologies into project strategies.
    • Provide technical guidance and training to project teams to enhance their competency operations.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the highest standards in outcomes.
    • Monitor project performance to ensure adherence to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with established standards.
  • Client Communication and Relationship Management:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during projects.
    • Provide regular updates on project progress, address client inquiries, and manage expectations.
    • Foster positive client relationships by delivering exceptional service and exceeding expectations.
  • Budget Oversight:
    • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
    • Monitor expenditures and take corrective actions to prevent budget overruns.
    • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably with a focus in the industrial cleaning sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and make sound decisions.
