Job summary

Procede Software, a leading DMS provider for heavy-duty truck markets, is seeking an organized Project Manager to drive delivery from concept to launch. You will partner with Product, Development, QA, UI/UX, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to coordinate concurrent projects in a fast-paced software environment.

The role involves leading release processes, managing backlogs with product owners, and promoting best practices while staying informed about product offerings and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• 3-5 years of project management experience
• 2+ years of scrum/Jira experience
• 2+ years of experience in software or technical services industry in related role
• Experience with Cloud platforms is a plus
• PMP certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Independently manage multiple projects, coordinating with Product, UI/UX, Development, QA, Deployment, Education, Sales, Marketing, etc., with little supervision.
• Manage all phases of the product release process for projects.
• Coordinating/leading meetings
• Delegating and overseeing deliverables assigned to resources
• Setting and adjusting expectations to ensure project and process continuity and timely delivery
• Identifying potential issues, risks, and conflicts and devise contingency plans to address, resolve and/or elevate in a timely fashion
• Updating project details in project management tools
• Collaborate with project management team to continually review and establish best practices using the latest tools and techniques
• Keep informed and current on organization product offerings, integrations, and related components
• Responsible for communicating build updates and coordinating support requests as needed
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
• Help teams implement changes effectively
• Support company’s continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process improvements, innovative technology and tools, and documentation updates (KBs, customer-facing guides, etc.)

We're looking for an organized and collaborative Project Manager to help drive the successful delivery of our software products from concept to launch. Primary Job Responsibilities

Desired Qualifications/Skills

• Knowledge of project management principles, practices, and tools related to product/software development
• Knowledge and experience with SCRUM/JIRA principles
• Skilled at managing multiple deadlines, keeping projects on task, and tactfully communicating scheduling changes, disruptions, and resetting expectations
• Advanced expertise to understand and communicate technical and functional business operations requests to both technical and non-technical users/clients
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and to make critical decisions based on sound judgment but have an understanding to know when to elevate
• Ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and clients
• Possess excellent organizational, time management, and follow through skills

Location and Compensation

This is a hybrid-remote role; candidates based in San Diego county are expected to work a minimum of one day per week in the office, those residing outside of San Diego county will be considered fully remote. The salary range for this role is $98,000 - $132,000 per year, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
