Job summary

Aberle Concrete, Excavating & Grading Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Concrete Project Manager to lead full lifecycle of commercial concrete projects, from planning to execution, within a family-oriented team.

You will manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, budgets, and collaborate with general superintendents; proficiency in Procore/PlanGrid/Autodesk is preferred; strong reading of drawings and rebar shop drawings required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Project Manager in commercial concrete construction.
• Strong proficiency in estimating, submittals, change orders (CORs), and RFIs.
• Ability to read and interpret complex architectural/structural plans and rebar drawings.
• Hands-on proficiency with Procore, PlanGrid, or Autodesk software.
• Knowledge of labor production rates and job budgeting.
• Ability to establish and maintain client-facing relationships.

The Opportunity:

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Collaborate directly with General Superintendents to review AIA billings and reconcile cost-to-date reports.
• Maintain comprehensive RFI and change order logs to align client expectations with field progress.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Extensive experience as a Project Manager managing commercial concrete construction projects.
• Strong proficiency in estimating, submittals, change order requests (CORs), and RFIs.
• Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and structural plans, elevation details, and rebar shop drawings.
• Hands-on proficiency using construction management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, or Autodesk.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• 7 or more years of concrete project management or equivalent specialty trade experience
• High School Diploma or GED.
