Job summary

Health Staffing Group is seeking a Project Manager, Operations to lead multiple cross-functional initiatives that drive growth, excellence, and strategic outcomes. You will manage planning, budgeting, risk, and execution while collaborating with operations, supply chain, engineering, quality, and sourcing.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of PM experience, a related bachelor's degree, and proven ability to influence stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related technical or analytical field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working within a regulated manufacturing, medical device, healthcare, or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of operations, supply chain, and business process improvement.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate projects related to operations, supply chain, sourcing initiatives, supplier transitions, and cost-saving programs.
  • Facilitate project meetings, decision-making sessions, and problem-solving activities with cross-functional teams.
  • Track project performance using key metrics and provide actionable insights through reporting and data analysis.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve issues to maintain project timelines.
  • Support continuous improvement by implementing standardized project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, and business leaders to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Develop business cases, manage project budgets, and ensure efficient use of organizational resources.
  • Promote collaboration, accountability, and effective communication across project teams.
  • Support organizational initiatives and perform additional project-related responsibilities as assigned.

Reports To: Director of Operations

About the Role

This role is responsible for leading multiple cross-functional operations projects that support business growth, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives. The Project Manager, Operations oversees projects from planning through execution, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.

Working closely with operations, supply chain, engineering, sourcing, quality, and other cross-functional teams, this position drives process improvements, manages project risks, and implements best practices to improve operational performance. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong project management expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong financial acumen, including project budgeting and business case development.
