GovCIO is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver technology projects across the organization. The role is fully remote, with responsibilities spanning initiation to closeout and regular executive updates.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management, communication, and organizational skills, plus experience working with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and senior leadership. Must be able to attain HUD suitability for the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5–8 years of IT Project Management experience (or commensurate experience).
• Experience leading IT projects from initiation through closeout and coordinating cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects from initiation, planning, and execution through implementation and project closeout.
• Define project scope, objectives, requirements, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate activities across infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud, application, database, and business teams.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status meetings, technical discussions, and stakeholder reviews.
• Track project progress and identify schedule, budget, resource, and technical risks.
• Maintain logs for risks, issues, actions, and decisions with follow-up.
• Identify dependencies and coordinate activities across internal teams and external vendors.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and successfully deliver technology projects across the organization. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with business and technical requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management, communication, and organizational skills, along with experience working with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and senior leadership. This is will be a fully remote position.

• Support continuous improvement of IT project management processes, standards, templates, and governance

Posted Salary Range

USD $94,150.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
