About the Role
We’re seeking a Project Manager to lead Stoner’s teams, plan and execute electrical construction projects, and manage project teams while ensuring quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Responsibilities (What You Will Do)
- Manage project development from initiation to completion.
- Perform electrical bid takeoffs and assemble project bids.
- Be accountable for project performance and profitability.
- Work with all stakeholders to complete project outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, and budget.
- Monitor and support field construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.
- Coordinate project subcontractors and associated contracts.
- Create and update project budgets and other financial reports.
- Clearly communicate expectations to team members.
- Act as mediator between stakeholders and team members.
- Resolve issues and solve problems throughout project life.
- Effectively manage project scope, documenting and approving changes with change orders.
- Lead, coach, and motivate project team members proactively.
- Procure work and develop new relationships.
Qualifications (What You Will Need To Be Successful)
- Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid knowledge of electrical wiring methods, construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principles and techniques.
- A thorough understanding of electrical, building and energy codes and their application to projects and design.
- Capability in electrical estimating to produce job change orders, evaluate estimates, and assist with new estimates as required.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software.
- Experience with Accubid estimating systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience with integrated job cost systems to budget and evaluate reports.
- Knowledge of and experience with design‑build delivery models.
- Experience with identification and quantification of project impacts.
- Ability to use commercial judgment in customer relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership managing people.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work environment.
