About the Role

We’re seeking a Project Manager to lead Stoner’s teams, plan and execute electrical construction projects, and manage project teams while ensuring quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Responsibilities (What You Will Do)
  • Manage project development from initiation to completion.
  • Perform electrical bid takeoffs and assemble project bids.
  • Be accountable for project performance and profitability.
  • Work with all stakeholders to complete project outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, and budget.
  • Monitor and support field construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate project subcontractors and associated contracts.
  • Create and update project budgets and other financial reports.
  • Clearly communicate expectations to team members.
  • Act as mediator between stakeholders and team members.
  • Resolve issues and solve problems throughout project life.
  • Effectively manage project scope, documenting and approving changes with change orders.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate project team members proactively.
  • Procure work and develop new relationships.
Qualifications (What You Will Need To Be Successful)
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical wiring methods, construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principles and techniques.
  • A thorough understanding of electrical, building and energy codes and their application to projects and design.
  • Capability in electrical estimating to produce job change orders, evaluate estimates, and assist with new estimates as required.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software.
  • Experience with Accubid estimating systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with integrated job cost systems to budget and evaluate reports.
  • Knowledge of and experience with design‑build delivery models.
  • Experience with identification and quantification of project impacts.
  • Ability to use commercial judgment in customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership managing people.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work environment.
