Job summary

Camlin is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a mix of hardware deployment and software solution projects for customers across North America. You will bridge external client stakeholders with internal teams including Engineering, Product and SME, ensuring contractual compliance and proactive risk management.

The role oversees software and hardware deployments and supports internal initiatives aligned with business objectives and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• 5–7+ years of hands-on project management delivering software solutions.
• Proven experience delivering hardware and software solutions related to Asset Management in the Electric Utility industry.
• Proven track record delivering software delivery, SaaS deployment, and hardware integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software and hardware projects, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline alignment.
• Maintain complete traceability on project deliverables, risk logs, and action items across all active customer accounts.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery between internal teams including Engineering, Product, SME, and Support to guarantee delivery readiness.
• Provide oversight and guidance to cross functional teams, ensuring high-quality project execution.
• Act as the primary escalation point for project-related issues, maintaining regular communication and proactive updates.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead a mix of hardware deployment and Software solution projects for our customers across the North American region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of complex software and hardware implementations. The successful candidate will serve as the pivotal bridge between our external client stakeholders and internal teams including Engineering, Product, and SME teams, ensuring seamless communication, contractual compliance, and proactive risk management.

In addition to overseeing software and/or hardware deployment projects the successful candidate will support other internal initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Lead end-to-end software solutions and hardware projects, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline alignment.
• Maintain complete traceability on project deliverables, risk logs, and action items across all active customer accounts.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery between internal teams including Engineering, Product, SME, and Support teams to guarantee delivery readiness.
• Provide oversight and guidance to cross functional teams, ensuring high-quality project execution.
• Act as the primary escalation point for project-related issues, maintaining regular communication, managing expectations, and providing proactive updates on progress and resolution.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

• Maintain communication channels to provide regular project updates to customers and cross functional teams, including status, risks, and key decisions.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
• 5-7+ years of hands-on project management experience delivering software solutions, ideally within the Electric Utility, Energy, or Asset Performance Management industries.
• Proven experience delivering hardware and software solutions related to Asset Management in the Electric Utility industry.
• Proven track record managing software delivery, SaaS deployment, and hardware integration

Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Expertise in managing complex, cross-functional projects with a strong technical component.
• Decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Jira Service Management, MS Project, and Office 365.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage diverse teams.
