Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is hiring a Project Manager for its Water Team in Orlando, FL. The role leads water/wastewater projects, managing scope, budgets, schedules, and client expectations while applying technical expertise to improve public health and community resilience.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, and at least 4 years in engineering with 2 years in project management. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation and Deltek Vision is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • Minimum 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience, including 2 years of project management.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Proven ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasks.
  • Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage water/wastewater projects from development of proposals through completion, delivering cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee all aspects of project delivery: scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships.
  • Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and project documentation with clients and subcontractors.
  • Lead project financials, subcontractor payments, and monthly review meetings with operations.
  • Develop project-specific health and safety plans and ensure QA/QC compliance as per the Quality Management Plan.
  • Communicate updates clearly to clients, management, and project teams to ensure timely completion.

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to join our Water Team in Orlando, FL. As Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and client expectations while contributing technical expertise to projects that enhance public health, environmental stewardship, and community resilience.

What You'll Do
  • Manage water/wastewater projects from development of project proposals through completion, providing environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutions
  • Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships
  • Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and project documentation with clients and subcontractors
  • Lead project financials, subcontractor payments, and monthly review meetings with operations

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required

  • Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws

  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range

$94,000 - $117,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
