Manhattan Road & Bridge Company seeks a Project Manager for our Oklahoma City, OK division to lead heavy highway construction programs from concept through completion.

You will oversee project budgets, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and change orders, coordinating with owners, vendors, and subcontractors while assuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Travel within Oklahoma may be required.

• Strong knowledge of financials, budgets, forecasting, estimating and contracts.
• Ability to read civil construction plans and specs.
• Experience leading complex infrastructure projects from concept to completion.

Manhattan Road & Bridge Company provides bridge and heavy infrastructure civil construction services throughout Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Florida. From complex urban schedule sensitive projects with intricate aesthetic features to common rural projects, our expertise is diverse and expanding. We perform turn-key (highway and railroad) bridge, bridge repair, grading and surfacing projects, and pile driving services.

We are currently seeking a Project Manager for our Oklahoma City, OK division.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of previous project management experience with heavy highway construction projects.
• Strong knowledge with financials, budgets, forecasting, estimating and contracts.
• Competency in reading civil construction plans.
• 5+ years related experience in civil structure (bridges, pile driving, cofferdams, drilled foundations, etc.), mass grading (embankment and excavation), general highway construction, storm drainage utilities, and concrete pavement construction.
• Ability to successfully manage complex infrastructure projects from concept through completion.
• Some Travel may be required within the state of Oklahoma.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the team planning of work
• Lead project execution and manage all aspects of the project financials, including monthly billings and pay applications.
• Preconstruction and construction communication with the Owner (submittals, RFI’s, change orders) and vendors (fabricators and subcontractors)
• Management of the project budget, including periodic revenue and cost projections
• Review labor costs with the project team
• Progress billings and stakeholder in developing and updating project schedules
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in HCSS and Vista by Viewpoint is preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS:

• Ability to physically stand, bend, sit for long periods, and squat throughout the day.
• Ability to repeat the same movements.
• Ability to communicate effectively and participate fully in meetings, video conferences, and phone calls.
• Use hands to type, handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or control.
• Occasionally lift, pull, or move up to 25 lbs.
• Occasional travel will be required, primarily in the metropolitan area but sometimes domestically (must have a valid Driver’s License).
