Job summary

Summary

We're looking for a Project Manager to help manage an active project at the NASA Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. This is a critical leadership role for an individual who can seamlessly integrate into an ongoing project and drive it to successful completion. Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Take charge of an active project, ensuring all phases of construction are executed efficiently and in line with project goals.
  • Team & Subcontractor Management: Supervise all on-site personnel and subcontractors. You\'ll maintain strong working relationships and ensure all teams are aligned with the project\'s timeline and quality standards.
  • Schedule & Budget Control: Actively monitor the project schedule and budget, proactively identifying and mitigating any potential risks. You\'ll provide strategic direction to keep the project on track and within financial constraints.
  • Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for NASA officials and Senior Management. You\'ll provide regular updates on project progress, address any concerns, and ensure all parties are aligned.
  • Quality & Safety Assurance: Enforce the highest standards of quality control and ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and regulations, including specific requirements for working on a secure NASA facility.
Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with significant experience managing large-scale civil works projects.
  • Education: A Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM are highly valued.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams on active job sites, a strong command of project management software, and exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Security: Due to the nature of the work at a NASA facility, all candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to pass a comprehensive background check.
