Job summary

Spyglass Talent Solutions, a retained search firm, has been engaged by a Division 9 subcontractor to conduct a search for a Project Manager. Our Client is a fast-growing Division 9 trade partner specializing in metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, interior demolition, and commercial painting.

In Raleigh, NC, the Project Manager will own multiple drywall and Division 9 projects from planning through closeout, coordinating schedules, budgets, and field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of construction experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, sequencing, and best practices.
• Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven leadership ability with field teams and subcontractors.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of commercial drywall, framing, acoustical ceiling, and related Division 9 projects from project award through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, procurement logs, and overall project execution strategies.
• Serve as the primary point of communication for project stakeholders, including general contractors, subcontractors, architects, owners, and internal teams.
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Oversee project documentation, including contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
• Manage and supervise field teams and subcontractors, ensuring alignment on productivity, sequencing, and quality expectations.
• Identify project issues, delays, or risks early; collaborate with the field and operations teams to develop and implement solutions.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor schedule adherence, safety, manpower, and workmanship.
• Review costs, track production, and ensure project profitability targets met.
• Lead project closeout, including punch list completion, O&M documentation, and turnover deliverables.
• Participate in internal project reviews and provide feedback to estimating on productivity, pricing, and lessons learned.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize deadlines effectively.
• Willingness to travel locally to project sites as needed.
