Job description

Responsibilities

• Project management of assigned projects, including buyout, scheduling, coordination of activities, change‑order management, and close‑out.
• Drive the project schedule at all times, ensuring timely completion, on‑budget performance, and on‑target delivery.
• Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, document material lead times, and create milestone schedules.
• Coordinate with the general supervisor, fabrication shop, field teams, and internal departments to ensure material readiness and schedule adherence.
• Maintain daily load and scope tickets for manpower scheduling and report progress at weekly PM meetings.
• Keep an ongoing punch list from start through project completion.
• Ensure shop drawings are submitted to client/architect in a timely manner and meet specifications.
• Coordinate submittal and procurement processes, including field measurements, material procurement, fabrication tickets, and material allocation.
• Attend job‑site meetings, record minutes, and communicate schedule issues and action items with clients.
• Identify scope changes, document and generate change orders, and monitor approvals.
• Ensure all punch‑list items, documents, financials, and shop‑drawing records are completed and submitted.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing architectural glass & metal projects from $5,000 to $5M.
• Progressive and assertive attitude with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of architectural metal & glass materials and installation applications.
• Knowledge of glazing trade practices and procedures; hands‑on glazing installation experience preferred.
• Ability to perform in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment and to multi‑task under pressure.
