Job Function:
Description:

Prosera is looking for a Project Manager for our St. Louis office or remote. We provide project management, engineering and design services and software in the oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, pulp and paper, power and water, specialty chemical, and biotech industries. You will report to the President of Customer Success. You will manage small to large size projects, ranging from 0.5M to 5M, involving the execution, configuration and commissioning of Process Simulation systems at customer sites.

Responsibilities:
  1. Be accountable for overall project performance, including: scope, deliverables, cost, profitability, schedule, quality, budget, progress, and forecasting.
  2. Coordinate and direct technical staff to ensure the completion of project activities.
  3. Interface with project controls team and other organizational staff to coordinate project planning, scheduling, billing, monitoring, and resource assignment activities.
  4. Collaborate with Simulation Engineers and technical managers when necessary for multidisciplinary projects.
  5. Work closely with Business Development to contribute to the definition and review of technical scope, requirements, deliverables and hour estimates prior to issuance of proposals.
  6. Maintain and manage client relationship and expectations.
  7. Organize and participate in meetings with customers and project team members and ensure timely communications.
  8. Produce and submit periodic status reports to customers and management as required.
  9. Recommend and institutionalize improvements to engineering service execution and delivery processes.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
  1. Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical preferred).
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a project engineer or project manager in an industrial or related field.
  3. An understanding of regulatory control topics including, but not limited to, device control, PID loops (simplex and cascade), permissives, interlocks, state based control.
  4. Excellent leadership and communication (oral and written) skills.
  5. Must meet background check, drug testing, and safety training requirements for access to client sites.
  6. Must have valid driver's license to drive to client sites.
  7. Ability to travel up to 50%, including internationally if needed.
  8. Ability to meet project deadlines and maintain consistency with existing project schedules.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
  1. Master of Science degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred).
  2. Experience with industrial software.
  3. 10 years of experience as a project engineer or project manager in an industrial or related field.
