Job summary

Nastech Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a hybrid position in Los Angeles, CA. This contract W2 role focuses on delivering complex IT projects, leading cross-functional teams, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-budget outcomes.

The successful candidate will bring 7+ years of PM experience, including 4+ years as a senior PM on large initiatives, plus hands-on work with Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Smartsheet, and Power BI for metrics and reporting.

Qualifications

Skills Required:

The Senior PM will possess knowledge and experience in customer service; decision making; flexibility; interpersonal skills; leadership; organizational awareness; problem solving, reasoning; team building; oral communication, speaking and writing; business process reengineering; capital planning and investment assessment; contracting/procurement; cost-benefit analysis; financial management; planning and evaluating; project management; quality assurance; requirements analysis and risk management; configuration, data, and information management; information resources strategy and planning; information technology architecture; information technology performance assessment; infrastructure design; systems integration; systems life cycle; and technology awareness.

Strong business process analysis and requirements development skills. Proficiency with project and work management tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Smartsheet. Ability to use Power BI for project metrics, dashboards, and reporting. Familiarity with contracts management systems, claims processing, or case management systems. Technical familiarity with SQL, cloud systems, or enterprise integration platforms.

Experience Required:

This classification requires a minimum of seven (7) years of broad, extensive and increasingly responsible experience applying PM principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least four (4) years of that experience must have been as a senior PM of one or more large or complex IT projects.

2+ years of proven experience implementing COTS/SaaS solutions (workflow management, case management, ERP, or similar platforms). 4+ years of experience managing system integration and data exchange projects (APIs, interface engines, secure file transfers, HL7/FHIR/X12). 2+ years of hands-on experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
