Howard Building Corporation in Los Angeles is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead tenant improvement projects from preconstruction through turnover.
You will manage budgets, schedules, client relationships, and teams, delivering safe, high quality spaces while guiding junior staff. Strong communication, financial acumen, and a collaborative mindset are essential to navigate fast-paced interiors and complex projects.
We’re looking for a Project Manager who enjoys fast-paced commercial interiors, strong teams, great clients, and the occasional construction problem that needs to be solved before lunch.
You’ll lead tenant improvement projects from preconstruction through turnover and closeout, working closely with clients, architects, superintendents, subcontractors, and your internal project team. The job is equal parts planning, financial management, communication, leadership, and figuring things out when construction decides not to follow the plan.
A successful Project Manager delivers projects that are safe, well planned, financially successful, on schedule, high quality, organized, and enjoyable to work on.
Most importantly, the project is delivered by a team of clients, designers, subcontractors, and coworkers who would happily work together again.
Because at the end of the day, we’re not just building offices and interiors. We’re building teams, relationships, and the next project.
If you enjoy building great spaces, strong teams, and long-term client relationships, we’d like to talk.
