Responsibilities

• Develops and monitors project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely, cost-effective completion
• Determines project labor, tools, equipment, and material needs; ensures timely procurement
• Oversees and directs the team for completion of all required permits, approvals, and inspections
• Participate in securing new work including developing project approach, project interviewing, and estimating
• Design coordination including scheduling, constructability reviews, and value engineering
• Maintains regular communication with field coordinators/construction managers to ensure quality control and adherence to project schedules
• Maintains safety requirements and enforces programs for safe environment
• Participates in R&D of new construction materials and methods
• Reports on project status regularly through meetings or written correspondence

This role will suit those seeking cradle-to-grave project experience; participating in the estimating portion and moving on to manage and build the work. Those with low bid experience that enjoy the challenges of pursuing and chasing the work that they go on to manage will be motivated by this job. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Develops and monitors project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely, cost-effective completion.
• Determines project labor, tools, equipment, and material needs; ensures timely procurement based on production and installation lead times.
• Oversees and directs the team for completion of all required permits, approvals, and required inspections are scheduled and completed.
• Participate in securing new work including developing project approach, project interviewing, and estimating
• Where applicable, participate in design coordination that may include scheduling and prioritization, constructability reviews, and value engineering
• Maintains regular communication with field coordinators/construction managers to ensure quality control and adherence to project schedules.
• Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of safety requirements; Ensures guidelines and programs are enforced to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Participates in the research and development of new construction materials and methods as required.
• Reports on project status regularly through meetings or written correspondence.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
