Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.
  • Solid understanding of the FEL front-end-loading capital process.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and team leadership skills.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Capital Projects: Oversee all phases of capital projects and studies, ensuring they meet schedules, budgets, and customer requirements.
  • Resource Coordination: Secure and manage resources for project implementation, from concept to start-up, and involve Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, and Maintenance teams.
  • Project Monitoring and Reporting: Track progress, report deviations, and communicate future work projections with Project Controls.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop and implement project execution strategies with various organizations while ensuring compliance with contractor agreements.
  • Strategic Planning and Evaluation: Develop annual capital plans, manage expenditures, and evaluate project performance for continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management: Evaluate and mitigate risks to meet project objectives and prepare mitigation plans.

Your mission is to maximize project value by ensuring it stays within budget, meets deadlines, and achieves the required operability. You plan and execute studies and capital projects to meet specific objectives, all while interacting with operations, technology, business, and other corporate support organizations. Engaging with senior management is also a key part of your role, making your leadership essential to the project's success.## **Relocation to the Kingsport, TN area is available for candidate who qualify.****Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:*** Manage Capital Projects: Oversee all phases of capital projects and studies, ensuring they meet schedules, budgets, and customer requirements.* Resource Coordination: Secure and manage resources for project implementation, from concept to start-up, direct the development of necessary engineering documents, and ensure involvement of appropriate personnel from Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, and Maintenance (EPCOM).* Project Monitoring and Reporting: Collaborate with Project Controls to track progress, report deviations, and communicate future work projections.* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with various organizations to develop and implement project execution strategies and ensure compliance with contractor agreements.* Strategic Planning and Evaluation: Develop annual capital plans, manage expenditures, and evaluate project performance, promoting best-value practices and continuous improvement.* Risk Management: Regularly evaluates & mitigates issues that create project risk to meeting project objectives.
