Position Overview

The Project Manager is a critical role responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a broad portfolio of projects during and beyond Bunker Hill Mine’s transition from startup and commissioning into full production and sustained operations. This role manages major construction and infrastructure projects, including the paste plant, while leading business improvement and asset management initiatives to support long-term operational success.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and execute multiple construction and infrastructure projects, including contractor oversight, schedules, budgets, and safety performance.
  • Lead the paste plant project from construction through commissioning and support long-term reliability and performance.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, environmental permits, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with mine operations, processing, engineering, and maintenance teams to align project delivery with production objectives.
  • Track project performance and provide regular status, risk, and financial reporting to senior leadership.
  • Lead capital, startup, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects supporting operational readiness.
  • Support asset management initiatives including lifecycle planning and capital replacement strategies.
  • Promote a safety-first culture and support the goal of Zero Harm.
Position Requirements
  • Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial environments.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale construction and mining infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Experience supporting startup, commissioning, and ramp-up of industrial operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with asset management systems and ERP or business management systems.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work at an active mine and construction site with exposure to uneven terrain, weather conditions, noise, and dust.
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb stairs and ladders, and access industrial and underground environments.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel on-site and to off-site meetings or vendor locations as required.
