Job summary

Brayman Construction Corporation in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a dependable full-time Project Manager to interface with project stakeholders, track projects, and develop staff. The role offers solid growth in a safety-conscious environment with federal contractor considerations.

The candidate should bring a minimum of five years of heavy civil/foundation experience, including bridge projects, and a strong ability to manage contracts, schedules, and budgets across private and public sector

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Management).
• At least 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction and/or deep foundation construction.
• Experience in both private and public sectors preferred.
• Bridge construction experience preferred.
• Experience with heavy civil or foundation work (mass concrete, post-tensioning, dams, drilling, soil nails, caissons, tie backs, shotcrete, slurry walls).

Responsibilities

• Lead contract management, change orders, subcontracts, scheduling, and coordination with superintendents.
• Mentor project management team members and oversee projects.
• Build relationships with coworkers, clients, and vendors to ensure on-time, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT MANAGER

In this project management role, you inspire your team to complete quality construction projects by using your knowledge of the industry and exceptional leadership skills. Your organizational skills shine as you perform contract management, change orders, prepare subcontracts, schedule projects, and consult with superintendents.

As a leader, you enjoy mentoring project management team members and overseeing construction projects. Your communication skills come in handy as you build strong relationships with coworkers, clients, and vendors. You ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Taking on the role of project manager fills you with accomplishment!

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field, which may include Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Management.
• At least 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction and/or deep foundation construction is required.
• Work experience in both private and public sectors is preferred.
• Experience on bridge construction is preferred.
• Experience with various types of heavy civil or foundation work including, but not limited to, mass concrete, post-tensioning, dams, drilling, soil nails, caissons, tie backs, shotcrete, slurry walls is preferred.

This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. Project sites contain various safety hazards associated with heavy construction. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis. This position will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.
