Job summary

Pavion in Greenville, SC is seeking a talented Project Manager to join our security business unit. This role leads project planning, resource coordination, and stakeholder communications across security integration projects.

You will drive schedules, budgets, risk management, and quality assurance, ensuring on-time delivery and client satisfaction on complex installations in enterprise, healthcare, and data center environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in security systems, construction, or technology integration.
• Experience managing multiple projects with on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with clients and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.

Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Project Manager to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Initiation
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party contractors/vendors
• Allocate and manage resources to ensure project milestones are met
• Client and Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and solutions
• Execution and Monitoring
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of projects to ensure they remain on track
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Respond promptly to issues, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and deliverables
• Compliance and Quality Assurance
  • Ensure projects adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure project deliverables meet specifications and client expectations
• Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and change orders
  • Prepare regular status reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Budget and Cost Control
  • Manage project budgets and track expenses to avoid overruns
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality
• Team Leadership and Collaboration
  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives
  • Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment
• Closeout and Handover
  • Ensure proper project closeout, including client sign-offs and final documentation
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in security systems, construction, or technology integration
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within budget
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet)
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, vendors, and team members
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive approach to risk management
• Budget management and cost control expertise
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., OSHA, ADA)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in data center construction or live environment projects.
• PMP (Project Management Professional), CSPM (Certified Security Project Manager) or equivalent certification
• Relevant technical or manufacturer certifications related to security systems (e.g., Lenel/S2, Software House, Axis Certified Professional)
• Familiarity with security systems, access control, CCTV, or intercom systems
• Basic understanding of data center operations or construction environments

The salary range for this position is $90,000–$120,000 annually . The starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
