Job summary

Sentar Inc. seeks a Project Manager to lead day-to-day project execution in support of DoD and federal IT initiatives.

The role oversees cross-functional teams of developers, analysts, and cybersecurity professionals, ensuring scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation, and performance tracking align with contract requirements. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in program/project management, strong communication skills, and a Secret clearance or ability to obtain one, with CISSP/CISM desired.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of program/project management experience, including DoD or federal IT/cyber initiatives.
  • Experience managing and leading technical teams of 10+ personnel.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate progress to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain; CISSP or CISM desired.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day project execution per contract requirements.
  • Manage cross-functional teams of developers, analysts, and cybersecurity professionals.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation, and performance tracking.
  • Act as liaison between Sentar and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate interfaces with external applications and reporting functionality.
  • Report status and milestones to government stakeholders and lead reviews.

Sentar is seeking a Project Manager in Fort Bragg, NC!

This position i contingent on contract award

POSITION SUMMARY
  • Lead day-to-day project execution in accordance with contract requirements
  • Manage a cross-functional team of developers, analysts, and cybersecurity professionals supporting operations and enhancement activities
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, performance tracking, and risk mitigation
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Indigo IT and stakeholders
  • Coordinate system interfaces and data exchanges with external applications
  • Support efforts to modernize architecture and reporting functionality, including business intelligence, data visualization, and secure financial data handling
  • Track and report status, milestones, and deliverables to government stakeholders; lead internal and customer-facing reviews
Qualifications

Clearance Level: Secret

Desired certifications: CISSP or CISM

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field; PMP certification strongly preferred

Experience
  • 7+ years of program/project management experience, with at least 4 years supporting DoD or federal IT or Cyber initiatives
  • Experience managing and leading technical teams of at least 10 or more personnel
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to translate technical progress to non-technical stakeholders
