Job summary

Calista is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple EOIR-related projects nationwide and overseas. You will lead day-to-day activities, coordinate with Government Task Managers, and ensure schedules, milestones, and deliverables align with contractual objectives.

The role requires US citizenship, DOJ/PTI eligibility, and a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; a pre-employment background check and drug test are required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects for EOIR Headquarters and field locations.
  • Ensure continuity of operations during contract transition and uninterrupted government support.
  • Coordinate activities across dispersed locations including EOIR courts domestically and overseas.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor schedules, milestones, risks, and resources; report progress to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Program Manager, GTMs, and technical leads to ensure contract success and compliance.
  • Prepare weekly status reports, executive summaries, dashboards and ad hoc government reports.
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Project Management is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of ongoing projects supporting the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) Headquarters and field locations throughout the United States and overseas. This individual provides day-to-day leadership of project activities, ensures operational continuity during contract transition, coordinates with Government Task Managers (GTMs), and oversees project schedules, deliverables, and reporting to ensure uninterrupted mission support. The Project Management serves as a key liaison between Government stakeholders and contractor personnel, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with contractual objectives.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects supporting EOIR Headquarters and field operations.
  • Ensure continuity of ongoing operations throughout contract transition and maintain uninterrupted support to Government stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project activities across geographically dispersed locations, including EOIR courts throughout the United States and overseas.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager, Government Task Managers (GTMs), and technical leads to ensure successful contract execution.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly project status reports, executive summaries, dashboards, and ad hoc reports as requested by the Government.
  • Monitor project performance, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project objectives.
  • Coordinate project meetings, document action items, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards, and project management best practices.
  • Support transition planning, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness activities.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration among project teams, Government stakeholders, and contractor personnel.

  • Experience supporting the Department of Justice (DOJ), EOIR, or other Federal civilian agencies

  • Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies
  • Familiarity with ITIL service management practices
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain the appropriate Department of Justice (DOJ) Public Trust Investigation (PTI) as required for the position.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and (8) years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
PLACE OF PERFORMANCE

The principal place of performance will be EOIR Headquarters located in Falls Church, VA.
