Job summary

TAS Environmental Services, LP is seeking a Project Manager to lead industrial service projects in Texas. The role requires strong organizational skills, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget while upholding safety standards.

You will define scope, develop plans, manage resources and budgets, and serve as the main client contact, ensuring clear communication and successful project closeout.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in industrial services or a similar industry.
  • 3+ years’ of experience managing projects and/or teams.
  • OSHA 30-Hour and Hazwoper 40-Hour preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and clients.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges proactively.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, including field personnel and sub-contractors.
  • Monitor project progress, performance, and KPIs to ensure alignment with the project plan.
  • Manage project from an onsite billable role, reporting daily activities and timelines to client, tracking expenditures, and reporting on financial performance to regional management.
  • Oversee all aspects of project execution, from initial mobilization to final completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status.
  • Effectively communicate project details, changes, and potential issues to all stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and satisfaction.
  • Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all project activities are performed in strict adherence to company safety policies and industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety meetings.
  • Ensure all necessary permits, certifications, and documentation are in place.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to secure necessary resources, equipment, and materials.
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
  • Facilitate project closeout activities, including final reporting, documentation, and client sign-off.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future project delivery.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
  • This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing at times
  • The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 60 pounds
  • Must be able to frequently climb stairs and ladders
  • May occasionally deal with heights
  • Ability to wear Personal Equipment, including Respiratory Protection
  • Consists of both office setting and physical jobsite
  • Able to work in confined spaces when needed
