Job summary

Prince is seeking an experienced construction project manager to lead a multi-phase build in Florida. You will develop schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure all drawings and specifications meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or construction science.Graduate engineers or architects with business/admin training may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develops cost-effective plan and schedule for project completion.
• Selects and coordinates work of subcontractors on various phases of the project.
• Oversees performance of all trade contractors and reviews drawings to ensure compliance with specs and regulations.
• Administers construction contracts and secures permits and licenses.
• Supervises assistants, reviews reports, and addresses safety concerns and deficiencies.
• Tracks and controls schedule and costs to complete project on time and within budget.
• Reports progress and necessary plan modifications to owners and architects.

• Selects and coordinates work of subcontractors working on various phases of the project.
• Oversees performance of all trade contractors and reviews architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.
• Is responsible forproper administration of construction contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.
• Supervises assistant managers, reviews their reports, checks on any reported difficulties, and corrects any safety violations or other reported deficiencies.
• Tracks and controls constructionscheduleand associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and moniesallocated.
• Reports to owners and architects about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seemindicated.

Job Requirements

• Graduateofa four-year degree program in construction management or construction science. Graduate engineers or architects will also be considered if they haveadditionaltraining in business administration and accounting.
• Five years ormore ofexperienceassistingor supervising construction projects of increasing complexity.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinatenumerousactivities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
