Job summary

Stephen Gould is seeking a results-driven Project Manager for our Duluth, GA office to oversee projects from concept through manufacturing to distribution, supporting the Sales Manager. The role emphasizes communication, organization, and accountability in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s or Associate degree with relevant experience, and may hold PMP/Lean Six Sigma certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred with 3 years of experience.
• Associates degree with 4 years of experience acceptable.
• Security clearance preferred.
• PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification highly preferred.
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or prior military background highly preferred.
• 10%-25% travel is required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite and PM software is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn the internal ordering platform and order-entry requirements.
• Responsible for data analysis and reporting for the team.
• Interact daily with clients and manufacturing partners.
• Identify areas of improvement within processes and procedures.
• Drive best practice through feedback to partners and clients and receive feedback as well.
• Oversee daily requests from Sales manager, Office manager and Clients; independence, organization, detail orientation and motivation are paramount.

What will I do?

As a Project Manager in our sales office you will manage projects from conceptual design ideas, through manufacturing to final distribution supporting the Sales Manager. Stephen Gould looks for highly motivated, energetic, and friendly individual who understands the keys to success in this position are communication and organization. Our Duluth, GA office is a fast paced, and deadline driven environment, high accountability and team-oriented goal effort is a must.

• You will learn the internal ordering platform and requirements for order entry and need a thorough understanding of multiple manufacturing processes.
• You will be responsible for data analysis and reporting for your team.
• You will interact daily with both clients and manufacturing partners/suppliers building these relationships for long term business.
• You will identify areas of improvement within processes and procedures.
• You will have an opportunity to drive best practice through feedback to partners and clients and receive feedback as well.
• You will have oversight on daily requests from Sales manager, Office manager and Clients and independence, organization, detail orientation and motivation are paramount.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred + 3 years of experience
• Associates degree + 4 years of experience
• Personal Security Clearance preferred
• PMP or Lean Six Sigma Certification highly preferred
• Experience working in aerospace, manufacturing or prior military background is highly preferred.
• 10%-25% travel is required
• Highly preferred background in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite Experience Adobe Acrobat, PM Software (Planner, Trello, SmartSheet, Monday.com) highly preferred!
