Job summary

Clayco, a full-service development and construction firm, seeks a Project Manager based in the Southwest to lead design-build projects from concept through closeout. You will work with a team on projects ranging from $20 million to over $200 million, coordinating with subs, managing costs, schedules, safety, and quality.

You will oversee submittals, change orders, and pay requests, support preconstruction bidding, and ensure adherence to contracts while promoting safety and continuous

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–10 years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing design-build projects valued at $25M+.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Participate with project team and preconstruction services in development of a Project Chart of Accounts.
• Coordinate with Project Superintendent in development of a project site logistics plan.
• Assist Superintendent in the management of subcontractors.
• Maintain understanding of the Clayco/Owner contract.
• Oversee the submittal, change order, and pay request process.
• Assist in generation of project costs and Job Cost Report.
• Contribute to the analyzing and forecast of quarterly Total Cost Projection reports.
• Monitor and record training of all staff personnel.
• Monitor project labor.
• Report and track equipment needs.
• Assist preconstruction services in bidding projects.
• Implement applicable safety, EEO, and Affinitve Action programs.
• Participate in the project's quality process.
• Contribute to schedule and project close-out processes.

The Role We Want You For

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related.
• 6 -10 years of experience managing construction projects ($25+ million) ideally design-build.
• Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Previous experience with set-up, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
• Previous experience leading a successful project management team.
• Creative and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding.
• Ability to lift objects at least 50lbs.
