Our Design Studio team, in our Chicago office is seeking a Project Manager to support the engineering of systems for a variety of projects working closely with clients, client reps, architects, and MEP engineers.
The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and organizational skills to coordinate diverse teams, manage resources, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Hybrid/remote policies apply with occasional site visits.

Most duties will be performed in an office environment. dbHMS currently operates with both hybrid and remote-only work policies. The remainder of the duties will be performed in a combination of office environment and construction/field environment which will involve trips to projects sites. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, and frequently is required to walk. The work typically requires the use hands to type, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The typical week consists of five, eight-hour shifts.

A Project Manager within dbHMS will have the capacity to execute complex projects independently and manage multidisciplinary teams through a project’s life cycle. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to coordinate diverse teams, manage resources, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
This position is expected to be comfortable representing the company to external clients as well as other industry professionals (tradespeople, sales representatives, etc.), which is paramount in design and construction of a project, as well as building and maintaining industry relationships.
