Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience managing mechanical construction projects.
• Experience delivering large commercial, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, or data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical systems.
• Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar projects from inception through completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of mechanical construction projects from award through closeout.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, procurement activities, and forecasting.
• Coordinate with estimating, preconstruction, engineering, fabrication, and field operations.

• Ensure compliance with safety programs, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and support the development of future project leadership.

A nationally recognized mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Opportunity

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover. You'll oversee every phase of project execution while collaborating with clients, subcontractors, engineers, field leadership, and executive management to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing mechanical construction projects.
• Experience delivering large commercial, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, or data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical construction systems.
• Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar projects from inception through completion.
• Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and change order management.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with construction management software and project scheduling tools.
