Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United States seeks a Project Management Consultant to provide consulting services for assigned market or client accounts, guiding projects from initiation to completion.

Role involves managing all PM aspects for real estate projects, coordinating with clients, and ensuring governance and data integrity across delivery teams within a leading global firm.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills; ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of PM for single real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work with clients to prepare scope, resources, cost estimates, budgets, schedules, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define project delivery resources via pre-qualified lists or qualification process; conduct RFPs, bid evaluations, and resource recommendations.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and timely, coordinated documentation.
  • Direct the project delivery team to achieve goals.
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule; track progress and report variances.
  • Identify threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans; implement actions to reduce risks.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share knowledge across related disciplines.
  • Lead by example, aligning with CBRE RISE values and building consensus.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own and related teams.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.

Job Description

About the Role:

As a CBRE Project Management Consultant, you will be responsible for providing consulting services to an assigned market or client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives.

This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
  • Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.
