Job summary

The Armstrong Company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial and residential move processes from start to finish, ensuring a quality move and outstanding customer service.

You will communicate with the supervisor, customer, and crew, manage on-site moves, and partner with Operations and Sales to ensure moves are executed as planned. This role emphasizes safety, leadership, and adaptability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years moving/relocation project management experience preferred.
• Previous commercial and/or household coordinator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manages employees, providing leadership, motivation, development, and discipline to promote quality performance.
• Manages moves through on-site supervision and review of the move with the Operations and Sales departments to ensure that moves are executed as planned.
• Conducts pre-move meetings with customers and appropriate personnel to ensure total understanding of what is expected, how the plan will unfold, and designated responsibilities.
• On move day, manages all aspects of the move, problem solves when necessary.
• Responsible for improving the quality of crew performance.
• Accountable for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
• Assist Customer Service Coordinator with major accounts.
• Performs other related essential duties as assigned or requested.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• 3-5 years of moving and or relocation project management experience preferred.


• Previous commercial and/or household coordinator experience preferred.
