Job summary

International Erosion Control Association in Boone, IA seeks a Project Manager responsible for all contractual duties on the project, including client communications, scheduling, deliverables, documentation, and on-site construction activities. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction-related field is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with industrial project management.
  • Must be familiar with construction safety and OSHA requirements.
  • Must be detail oriented and demonstrate experience and knowledge of project management best practices.
  • Must have excellent oral/written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and P6 (or similar scheduling software).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a culture of safety on the job site with all direct team members, contractors, and sub-contractors.
  • Establish and manage a quality program for the project, including but not limited to quality hold points during construction and sign off criteria.
  • Coordinate work between contractors, suppliers, and owner's team.
  • Prepare and maintain a detailed schedule for construction.
  • Ensure tracking of all invoices, payments, change orders, and back charges.
  • Manage project communications, transmittals, and routine project reporting.
  • Ensure all requests for information are answered in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks to project performance related to safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
  • Act as primary contact with the customer.
  • Work hours as necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Regular, punctual attendance is required.

Position Summary:
