Coordinate cross‑functional teams involving engineering, purchasing, shop operations, and quality assurance to track project milestones, resolve technical or logistical issues proactively, and maintain clear communication with customers throughout the repair lifecycle until final delivery. Review detailed mechanical inspection reports in collaboration with shop mechanics to identify failure modes, root causes, and necessary corrective actions for rotating equipment and pump assemblies. Perform cost analysis by gathering precise labor hours, machine shop processing times, and material procurement costs to prepare accurate repair quotations. Generate and submit purchase requisitions for critical replacement parts, raw materials, and outsourced services to the purchasing department, ensuring specifications meet engineering and application standards. Track and expedite the procurement of engineered components, castings, and mechanical seals to prevent production delays and ensure on‑time job completion. Liaise with outside sales teams to provide technical advisories on inspection findings, repair deviations, potential scope changes, and project status updates, ensuring customer expectations are managed effectively. Apply engineering principles, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), to review and validate repair drawings, ensuring dimensional accuracy and manufacturability

for re‑machined or fabricated components including shafts, shaft sleeves, bushings, wear ring etc. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance repair methodologies, reduce turnaround times, and optimize costs while maintaining quality and reliability standards. Develop and implement detailed processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions within the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards, enhance repair process consistency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor. Plan and perform monthly internal audits of the Quality Management System (QMS) to evaluate process adherence, identify nonconformities, and drive corrective and preventive actions to maintain compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
