Armag Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of mission-critical military and defense-related manufacturing projects. Qualifications

  • Three to five years of relevant project management and/or engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with PM software, methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while addressing multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • PM Professional Certification, or PMP, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and oversee programs and projects from initiation through successful execution.
  • Maintain accountability for project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and overall performance.
  • Assist the Sales Team with defining project scope and objectives and developing proposals and estimates.
  • Plan and coordinate project resources, review budgets, monitor progress, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to coordinate manufacture of complex projects.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Manage third-party consulting firms, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Develop expertise in applicable products, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Resolve conflicts and address challenges while balancing interests of all parties.
  • Travel as required, potentially up to 25%.

The successful candidate will play an important role in guiding projects through planning, manufacturing, quality review, and completion.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, customer service, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong critical-thinking, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Experience in specialized manufacturing project management or construction management.
  • Project Management Professional, or PMP, certification.
