Role Description

The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Baltimore, MD, responsible for overseeing commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role includes planning project timelines, budgets, and resources; coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers; and ensuring work complies with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards. The Project Manager will track progress, manage change orders, resolve field issues, and maintain accurate documentation and reporting within Clipper Construction’s technology platforms. Daily responsibilities also include leading project meetings, monitoring quality and risk, and driving continuous improvement in communication and client experience.

• Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to ensure timely delivery of materials, permits, and approvals.
• Candidates should possess Inspection skills to verify compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to oversee site logistics, sequencing of work, and resource allocation.
• Relevant qualifications include experience in commercial construction, familiarity with project management and construction software, and knowledge of local building codes.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, along with the capacity to lead cross-functional teams on-site.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in project delivery.
