Job summary

Keller Foundations, LLC, a global leader in geotechnical construction and deep foundations with over a century of North American presence, seeks a senior leader to drive business development and oversee proposal development, risk assessment, and client Q&A. The role demands strategic collaboration with management and a focus on profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Minimum 5 years geotechnical, construction or industry related experience preferred.
• Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills necessary.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with management on overall strategy and resource alignment.
• Lead proposal development, including risk assessment, profit optimization, estimating, engineering input, technical writing, site visits, and client Q&A.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure a clear understanding of all contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with the pre-construction team, as applicable.
• Oversee design coordination, submittals, material procurement, pre-job planning, and project scheduling.
• Plan and lead pre-project meetings with Superintendents and other key stakeholders.
• Partner with the project team to develop strategies that maximize project profitability.
• Build, lead, and support high-performing project teams.
• Ensure all work is executed in accordance with project specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with branch and project teams to maintain schedule adherence and budget performance.
• Identify and resolve challenges while capitalizing on opportunities to enhance project outcomes and profitability.
• Identify, track, and manage project changes; elevate issues as necessary to ensure proper resolution.
• Review and approve weekly and monthly financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and key performance metrics throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee accounts receivable (A/R) collections.
• Ensure full compliance with Keller and OSHA safety standards and requirements.
• Partner with HSEQ in the event of a safety incident to support employees and project teams in alignment with company policy.
• Address and resolve all quality nonconformance issues.
• Exercise stop-work authority when safety or quality concerns arise.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Proposal Preparation

Risk Management
Maintain full compliance with Keller risk management policies and procedures.
Proactively identify major risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to protect the company.

Additional Information

Salary Range: Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law.
