Role and responsibilities

As a PMO Officer you are positioned as an independent team member of a business team that is responsible for the development or maintenance & improvement of our state-of-the-art lithography machines. As a PMO Officer you are responsible for; Challenging the triple constraint (scope, timing, budget) as a recognized business partner, to optimize business value Driving effective decision making on all levels as a trusted 'advisor' of the Product Development Manager and his/her cross sectoral Product Team Implementing and improving project (program) standards and processes, e.g. related to project planning, financial management, product generation process, reporting, change control, risk management and quality. You are the one preparing and facilitating progress reviews and key decision meetings and actively follow-up on agreements made during these meetings Providing guidance during the financial forecasting (budget) process and proactively assisting regular financial management and reporting Pro-actively connecting, enabling and challenging all stakeholders. Next to that, you will inform and guide other PMO Project Officers about the status and progress of the Product and what they should focus on Driving completeness of all inputs from deciders in the product generation process Growing people and the team competences of PMO and ASML's Project Management community, e.g. by driving, participating, leading & implementing cross-PMO improvement projects

Education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Project Management, Engineering or other relevant fields
  • At least 5 years of working experience as PM(O) expert or practical experience as a project manager in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment
  • Experience with implementation of change and improvement projects
  • Experience with MS Project Online or a similar tool
Experience Working With a Complex Stakeholder Landscape Is Preferred
  • Strong English communication skills both written and oral

Other information
  • This position is located on-site in San Jose, California. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation. (Important to insert additional onsite language specific to the role: i.e., inspection, specific training and supervision, etc.)
  • A flexible workplace arrangement is available for remote work up to two days a week.

Responsibilities
  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • May require travel (specify domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently: $105,000-157,500

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
