Jacobs is seeking a Project Management Office Lead to oversee governance, controls, reporting, and documentation on client sites in Puerto Rico, Texas, and Virginia. You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams, develop templates and best practices, and ensure compliance with project standards while driving performance and risk management.

As a Project Management Office Leads on our team in Carolina/Guaynabo, Puerto Rico/ Northeast Houston, Texas and/or our Richmond/Goochland, Virginia locations, you’ll be based onsite at the client site, you’ll balance multiple tasks each day like monitoring contractor safety and quality, coordinating contractor schedules and material testing, and reviewing designs. We’ll rely on you to track performance, create change orders, draft RFIs and other construction documents, and identify issues you see in the field. You’ll learn from the Project Manager who will guide you in the preparation of construction estimates, constructability and design revisions. You’ll gain confidence as you coordinate with outside agencies, contractors and other 3rd parties regarding field activities.
We’ll ask you to review documentation supplied by vendors/sub-contractors to ensure compliance with client turnover protocols and then recommend necessary changes. Using your recent engineering degree, you’ll also support & research design options /documents for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.
