Job summary

Digital Realty seeks a Project Management Lead to drive the Capital Upgrade Program for mission-critical data center infrastructure in Dallas and adjacent markets. You will oversee cross‑functional teams, align with design, construction, and OEM partners, and govern upgrades from design through implementation to mitigate risks.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in data center facilities engineering, deep power and cooling expertise, and strong communication skills to coordinate global standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Facilities Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
  • 10+ years in data center infrastructure, critical systems, or facilities engineering and construction.
  • Strong understanding of power systems, cooling technologies, and building automation.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Global Tech Ops function in implementing and managing the Global Critical Infrastructure Program.
  • Partner with design consultants, construction managers, and OEM partners to ensure alignment to specifications.
  • Review and advise on design packages for critical infrastructure replacements.
  • Validate technical solutions against global standards and operational requirements.
  • Provide risk assessments and recommendations for at‑risk asset replacement with Regional Operations.
  • Coordinate infrastructure upgrade technical reviews and critical asset approvals.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, DC&E, Solutions Engineering and Portfolio Operations for equipment decisions.
  • Evaluate new infrastructure technologies for feasibility and deployment with internal and external teams.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation range: $190,000 – $238,000 annually.
