Job summary

HD Supply is seeking an intern for the Project Management team to support planning, coordination, and tracking of activities across the business. You will collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to monitor progress and deliver key milestones.

You will gain exposure to project planning, stakeholder communication, and process improvement while developing foundational PM skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS/BA in a related field with expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Coursework in Project Management, Business Operations, Organizational Leadership, Business Communications, or Process Improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with planning, coordinating, and tracking project activities.
• Support project documentation, meeting agendas, action items, and status updates.
• Monitor project timelines and help ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
• Conduct research and analysis to support project recommendations and business decisions.
• Help identify process improvement opportunities and operational efficiencies.
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, dashboards, and project communications.
• Track project metrics and summarize key insights for stakeholders.
• Support change management and implementation activities associated with project initiatives.
• Perform administrative and organizational tasks that contribute to successful project execution.
