Job summary

BELL Construction in Nashville is accepting applications for a 2027 Project Management Internship in our Building Division. The Intern will build competence in the basics of construction through estimating and project management, including writing RFIs, reviewing submittals, tracking schedules, and assisting with document control.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Job Summary

BELL Construction is accepting applications for 2027 Internships in our Building Division, Nashville location. The Project Management Intern will build competence in the basics of construction through estimating and project management, including writing RFIs, reviewing submittals, tracking schedules, and assisting with document control.

Job Responsibilities

• Works to develop an understanding of construction safety practices and confidence to alert supervisors if unsafe conditions exist.
• Has a good grasp of construction terminology.
• Reviews schedules to learn project flow.
• Learns to maintain documentation and compliance by shadowing the project team with drawing revision logs, requesting pricing for changes in work, and evaluating/preparing/distributing RFIs.
• With supervision, reviews & processes submittals accurately and identifies key items of coordination for PM & Superintendent to review.
• Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Minimum required – Intern must be in their Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
